Following the recent announcement that ‘The Paris Moscow Duo’ are appearing at Carillon’s Eastbourne Festival in February 2017, the latest news is the ‘Jimmy Blair Orchestra’ will be joining them. In addition Gary Blair, Sammie Catling, Harry Hussey, John Romero, Angie Lukins, Jean Hanger, Alan Shute, The Accordion Shop, Birmingham Accordions, Harry Kipling’s “Accordion Treasures”, & Acorn Accordions will all be in attendance thus making this weekend a truly spectacular and very busy event.
As well as the orchestra performing on Saturday night and as they did the last time the band attended Eastbourne, there will be a number of extra solo spots from some of the orchestra members. Saturday night will also see Gary Blair playing for a Ceilidh which is sure to give the event a real party feel.
The accordion festival will be held during the weekend of 10th- 13th February. Bookings for the weekend are going fast and Carillon Studios have said “We suggest those that would like to attend book early to avoid disappointment as it looks like the festival will sell out”. For bookings or further information see the Carillon Website or contact them on 01606 270148 where booking forms and event flyers are available.
