This weekend will see the Dorset Accordion Orchestra teaming up with the Marlborough Accordion Orchestra for a one off concert to raise funds for an 11 year old boy called Josh.
Josh collapsed with a bleed on the brain on the 27/12/2015, this was due to his benign tumour turning aggressive and he has not responded to Chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The money raised will go towards helping him fulfill his bucket list and towards costs for an experimental treatment. Also some of the funds will go to Brain Tumour research. Sammie Catling who runs the Dorset Orchestra has told us “Josh is very close to my heart and I really want to help him try and get better”
The concert is this Saturday (8th October) at 7pm and tickets cost just £5.00. If you are anywhere near the Ringwood area and would like to support the concert please call Sammie for tickets on 01425 540952. The venue is the St Ives & St Leonards Village Hall, Braeside Rd, St Leonards BH24 2PH and all are welcome.
