With the weather forecast looking much better this weekend, John & Jackie Romero are looking forward to another great Accordion Magic Festival in Middlewich. All are welcome to their garden party which is aimed at raising funds for their supported charity ‘Winstons Wish’.
Two accordion orchestras and a number of top line accordion players will be performing from 10.30am onwards (Saturday & Sunday). If you can play and fancy a go then bring your accordion along. John said “It’s a great party weekend and our only rule is the better you can play, the longer we will keep you playing”. They hope to beat the £480 figure raised last year and as they have now raised in excess of over £12,000, are hoping to get close to £13,000 with this weekends endeavours.
Entry is FREE. Jackie and daughter Rebecca along with sister-in-law Natalie will be running the Tea Garden with an assortment of other volunteers shaking buckets for donations. Jackie said “If it’s anything like last year it will be absolutely manic as over 25,000 people visited the town. Although we want people to stay with us there are lots of other things to do and see and loads of other free music venues”.
So for a great day out you will find them all @ 39 Brooks Lane, Middlewich, Cheshire CW10 0JG (overlooking the Trent and Mersey Canal, just off Junction 18 of the M6) and you will find parking just a few yards away in Brooks Lane!
